"Why Are You Calling Me LD? Student Wrkbk" by Cocounselor  Friday, June 27, 2008

I learned a lot about my students and what it means to them to be LD while we read this book and completed the activities in small groups. They had compelling testimony to the validity of the content of this workbook. Many felt validated and vindicated to read a text that explained and expressed what they had been feeling all of their educational career but were unable to put it into words themselves. This is a valuable resource and I highly recommend parents and educators of LD students and LD students themselves, read and complete this workbook. It opens up a lot of insightful conversation and provides a resource of explanation and research for those labeled and living with LD.
