For Elementary students who struggle with reading and students with learning differences, PCI brings together a supplemental package of materials appropriate for use with any core curriculum. PCI Sight Words 1 & 2 uses a 12-step multisensory program employing visual, auditory, tactile, and kinesthetic approaches to teach 200 commonly used words. Reproducible binders and full-color posters and flash cards provide students and teachers with engaging activities on real-world topics.

The software edition of PCI Sight Words 1 & 2 enables students to see, hear, say, and learn the same high-frequency words taught in the print edition. Adaptive features, virtual worksheets and review sheets, and assessments are included.

The Basic Reading Series also employs a multisensory approach to focus on essential comprehension skills and includes both fiction and non-fiction reading passages. Additional components in this supplemental package provide instruction and practice in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
