The worktext format combines the instructional core of a textbook with the built-in response mode of a workbook. Using an incremental teaching method, skills are presented in context with multiple examples given. Each worktext offers 16 lessons that have a two-page reading selection followed by four pages of correlated exercises. Posttests track student progress. Each book has 112 pages.

 

A 16-page manual for each title provides teaching tips, answer keys, ideas for cooperative learning, homework assignments, a reproducible course completion certificate, a classroom chart for recording student progress, suggestions for lesson extensions, and more.
