Edmark Reading Software. These programs can be used independently or as supplements to the popular print versions, the
Edmark Reading Programs. Levels 1 and 2 teach a total of 350 sight words in 572 lessons. Programs teach sight recognition of each word, introduce the words' meanings, provide comprehension activities, and use each word in a story. Includes review and assessment activities at five- and ten-word intervals.
Allows students to click on words and sentences to hear them read aloud. Programs can be individualized to meet each student's needs. Features automatic record keeping to track student progress. Each level includes a teacher's manual with learning objectives, activity ideas, and references. Programs are especially effective for use in inclusive classrooms.
Level 1
Teaches 150 words chosen from the Dolch Word List and first-grade readers. Also covers word endings, capitalization, and punctuation. Features 29 original multipage stories and printable flash cards.
Level 2
This extension of Level 1 teaches 200 new words and reviews and reinforces words learned in Level 1. Includes 100 original multi-page stories.
