The Phonemic Awareness Series brings reading to life like never before
with this engaging interactive reading system. Engages students' senses to make
reading a rich, fulfilling experience.
How It Works This handheld learning tool responds to every touch on
specially printed books and materials, with audio feedback and on-demand reading
assistance. Students can touch an icon in a Tag-enabled book to hear the story
read aloud or touch a single word to hear the pronunciation. Even the pictures
come to life for added story context and background information. Engaging activities
focus on core reading skills including comprehension, vocabulary development,
phonics, and phonemic awareness.
Tag School Reader The portable tool does not require student computers
and is easy to use outside the classroom, making it especially suitable for
after-school and home-school connection programs. Interactive skills practice
reinforces learning. Includes progress tracking and reporting features for the
teacher.
Series Each series includes five different book titles. Students will
want to read these Tag-enabled stories again and again. Titles introduce a variety
of genres, including favorite TV and movie characters, classic tales, historical
fiction, and mysteries.
Interactive Books & Activity Cards Tag-enabled books and cards create
an independent and interactive reading experience. The stories and fun-filled
games and activities build skills and confidence.
The Phonemic Awareness Series interactive books enable prereaders
to learn and practice key phonemic awareness skills and receive individualized
audio support and feedback, preparing them to be successful readers. Each book
includes phonemic awareness activities embedded in an engaging story that students
will love.
