A Symbols-Based Curriculum for Students with Cognitive Disabilities.
The Unique Learning System, a News-2-You product, provides eight
thematic units of academic instruction throughout the school year in four grade
bands (elementary, intermediate, middle school, and high school).
Three levels of differentiated instruction allow students of varying cognitive
abilities to participate using similar activities. This innovative program is
especially effective for students who use symbols and other visuals to communicate.

simply download one unit and are instantly ready to teach.

include:
Communication skills, social skills, and career development skills
Choice-making skills, self-advocacy skills, and independence skills
