This Curriculum, by Ellen McPeek Glisan, has two levels of reproducible activity books that offer a wide variety of proofreading opportunities. Each book is a collection of 50 Notes, Letters, Stories, and Articles. Students find and correct 20 errors in each writing sample. Writing skills addressed include spelling, capitalization, punctuation, missing words, possessives, contractions, grammar, sentence composition, and others. Each book includes 100 reproducible Pages, Teaching Suggestions, a simple Proofing Marking System, Proofing Tips, introductory Student Activities, Answer Keys with explanations, and consolidated lists of the specific words that are used in each activity.

About the Author
Ellen McPeek Glisan has an M.S. in learning disabilities and started teaching in a cross-categorical classroom in a small rural Northern Illinois junior-senior high school. Writing complete programs that had a clear purpose in the lives of her students became her passion. She has created an entire line of School-to-Work materials for both regular and special education classrooms for children and adults.
