Overview - WHY DO YOU?


Who, What, Where, When, Why & How Games are a delightful collection of fun, intriguing language games that will fascinate young students who are learning to answer "Wh" questions. Field-testing shows that students are captivated by all that is going on in the colorful, action-packed game boards. Ideal for emergent and nonreaders.

How to Play
Players "race" along bright, colorful pathways with illustrated words and surprising pictures, using game tokens and the roll of two dice-one with up to three numerals and one with up to six dots.

Teacher's Guide
An instruction sheet for each game lists the contents, playing instructions, and variations for each of the eight games in Who, What, Where, When, Why & How Games.

What Do You Do With?
A game to help students describe the function and various uses of objects in their everyday lives.

Where Do You Find?
A game to challenge a student's ability to think of and talk about places where you might find the items depicted on the game board.

How Do You?
A game to capture a student's attention and teach them to describe how an activity is done.

Why Do You?
An engaging game full of possibilities for students to develop critical thinking and language skills.

What Are They Doing?
A game where everyone talks about what everybody is doing. It challenges students to think and talk about all the activities on the game board. Designed to help students work on sentence structure, the game can also be used for teaching cause and effect.

Who Is It and What Are They Doing?
A fun and informative game that teaches students to describe what people do for a living. The background on the game board features places where people work in the city and in the country.

Where Is It?
A colorful game that teaches students prepositions using animal antics on the game board. Prepositions included are: in, on, under, over, through, next to, behind, in front of, and around.

When Do You?
An exciting game to help students understand the concept of "when." A great language-building activity and a perfect exercise to stimulate thinking skills. The game will have students laughing at the animal antics depicted on the game board.

Each game is packaged in a clear plastic storage envelope with a snap-type handle that can be used for carrying or hanging.
