Overview - MONEY SKILLS BLANK DRAW CARDS (20)
PCI Life Skills Programs, written by Janie Haugen-McLane, are comprised of ten board games that focus on life skills while promoting independence, socialization, and positive behavior. These games feature a total of 1000 questions and practice activities. They are being used by many teachers to guide students in how to become successful in the subject of life.
Proven to be effective for students with special learning and behavioral needs, the games also help students learn how to act at school, at home, and in the community. These games are ideal for self-contained and resource classrooms as well as inclusive teaching settings because no one loses these noncompetitive games.
Game Play & Draw Cards
There are two easy-to-play formats for the board games. One features questions on the board and the draw cards, and the other features questions on the draw cards only. Each game has 100 questions. Also included with each game are five blank draw cards so that teachers can customize the game with questions specifically designed for their students.
Teacher's Guide
A comprehensive teacher's guide is included with each game. The teacher's guide features all questions along with possible answers. A practice activity to reinforce the content of each question is included to facilitate further learning and discussion. These practice activities can be incorporated into gameplay or used after gameplay to review and reinforce concepts.
Individual Progress Reports
Six individual progress reports are included to evaluate student learning on an ongoing basis. Progress reports present strategies for use and multiple opportunities to evaluate student knowledge for each question in the game, including customized teacher-created questions.
A 10-pack of additional individual progress reports and 20 additional blank draw cards for each game are also available (sold separately).
