The large (5 ¼” x 8 ½”) cards feature sophisticated illustrations on the front and writing prompts on the back. Every prompt includes a writing tip that explains a specific pre-writing strategy to assist students as they brainstorm and plan their writing. For students who struggle with what to do after reading the prompt, this feature will support them as they transition from reading the prompt to organizing their thoughts to crafting their writing.
