Audio card programs, when used with an audio card reader, are a multisensory approach to reinforcing basic vocabulary, reading, writing, and math skills. A true supplement for the early childhood classroom, home study curriculum, and special needs programs, audio cards are ideal for developing skills in classification and visual perception. Auditory and visual interest go hand-in-hand when learning basic concepts and words. Children extend their abilities by listening to a card, recording a response, and comparing that response with the original recording. Each audio card has full-color illustrations that provide a high-interest medium, allowing students to learn and succeed at their own pace.
The FUNdamentals audio cards are packaged in a convenient, child-friendly washable carrying case with a built-in handle. Cards are numbered sequentially for easy classroom management.
Picture Word FUNdamentals. Picture Words FUNdamentals contain 72 full-color audio cards, covering familiar, high frequency A-Z Dolch list words. Each card depicts a familiar whimsical illustration and word that children are likely to encounter in grades PreK through 2, plus special education. This FUNdamentals set gives students practice in building pre-dictionary skills. Examples include apple, arrow, dog, drum, gate girl, gorilla, sailor, seal, and snake.
Readiness FUNdamentals. Readiness FUNdamentals, for grades PreK through 2 plus special education, contain 50 full-color audio cards covering basic colors, shapes, and numbers 1-10. Alphabet Cards A-Z show a whimsical illustration and a word. Number cards show the number as a domino illustration and a word. The cards are index-tabbed for easy classroom management. Also included are teacher resource materials, four transparencies, and four reproducible student worksheets.
Phonics FUNdamentals. Phonics FUNdamentals contain 88 full-color cards covering initial consonant sounds, final consonant sounds, consonant digraphs, vowels, and vowel digraphs. Each card has two whimsical illustrations and words showing the applicable phonic element. The cards are index tabbed for easy classroom management. Also included are teacher resource materials, four overhead transparencies, and four reproducible student worksheets.
