Overview - HANDS ON ALPHABET SET

Help students recognize the letters of the alphabet, connect upper and lowercase letters, and isolate initial sounds in words. These manipulatives sharpen prereading skills. Objects begin with short vowel and single consonant sounds for easy isolation of each initial sound. The first sound on each label is underlined. Activity cards reinforce alphabet sequencing and upper/lowercase correspondence skills. Sets of letter cards can be used for Memory Sequence or Concentration games, or spelling activities.
