These LeapFrog leveled reading books, when used with the LeapPad or Quantum LeapPad, provide on-demand audio instructional support specific to reading development stages (including early/emergent, transitional, and fluent/advanced) and provide teachers with a powerful strategy for increasing individualized learning time.
The interactive stories develop students' critical thinking and comprehension skills. The books are designed to provide contextualized instruction in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. The LeapPad leveled readers also provide students with LeapPad audio that models the immediate assistance a teacher would provide. This leveled series also transitions students to independent reading and helps advance reading levels. LeapFrog interactive stories and activities integrates easily into any guided or assisted reading program. Also provided are lesson ideas and writing activities via teaching cards.
