Overview - ACCESS: NEWCOMERS COMPLETE PROGRAM
Designed to help students with few or no English skills understand the big ideas in English, math, science and social studies, this program also develops oral-language and literacy skills. Three levels of instruction help students gradually build language and content-area skills. Complete program focuses on 2,160 high-frequency words, key vocabulary, and concepts from content areas. An array of engaging lessons and activities provides many opportunities to practice oral language in reading and writing. Includes model sentences that use natural and authentic language. Ideal for beginning ESL students.
