Overview - READING PEN 2
Reading Pen 2 is a personal reading assistant that reads words aloud. This unique tool allows you to provide immediate word support to both struggling and fluent readers to improve their reading skills. The pocket-sized handheld device scans, defines, and pronounces words from virtually any printed material. The portable battery-operated pen is easy to use and recognizes over 250,000 words. Includes the American Heritage Children's Dictionary and College Dictionary, Roget's Thesaurus, and English-Spanish translation.
How It Works
Students glide the pen's optical scanner over a word or a full line of text and the words are read aloud. Definitions can also be read aloud to build vocabulary when encountering unfamiliar words. Hear the text using the built-in speaker or use the included earphone for optimal clarity. Adjusts for left-handed or right-handed users.
