The skills and concepts covered in this workbook are relevant and high-interest while addressing important science concepts covered in the regular education curriculum. The highly detailed charts, diagrams, and tables provide students with visuals to explain the information covered in the text. The low readability makes the information accessible to struggling readers and ESL students. I have used this product with both types of students successfully. Compared to the regular adopted text used in the classroom, this science text is easy to read, full of important vocabulary which is highlighted and defined in the text, and small segmented chapters that make mastery of concepts possible. No science teacher should be with out this book. It is even a good review for on level students who need to review the basic science concepts.
