What an awesome way to explore and explain the concepts of addition, subtraction, and multiplication to struggling readers and those struggling with math than to use a real-life manipulative such as coupons. Not only do these binders cover math skills, but they also cover life skills applying reasonableness and problem solving including budgeting and making monetary choices. Students use coupons to apply basic number operations in a real-world setting and through real-world applications. The realistic coupons and flyers are valuable resources to teach reading skills as well as math and economics. The full-color coupons and flyers make these binders a must have for teaching basic number operations.
