ABOUT PCI EDUCATION

PCI Education

We know you have high expectations as you help your students grow and learn. By focusing on students' strengths, and not just their weaknesses, you enable your students to achieve greater goals, improve social skills, and increase self-confidence.

PCI Education's slogan, "Building Real-World Solutions," strongly supports this approach. Our logo, which is a light bulb inside an apple, symbolizes PCI's goal of providing bright ideas and innovative products to educators. PCI products help teachers enable students to develop skills in all major curriculum areas within the context of real world applications.

Our unique, real-life approach to teaching basic academic skills and life skills for struggling students, from Special Education to the regular classroom to ESL to Adult Education, differentiates us from other educational publishers, and is the core of our company.

Increasing measures of accountability in education have left teachers searching for products that truly impact student performance, not just providing test practice but more importantly, developing success and competence in life outside the classroom. In particular, school districts across the nation are seeking products that improve the skills of students struggling to achieve. These students often cannot complete even basic daily tasks requiring reading, writing, or computation. Often they also suffer from a lack of motivation because of a history of failure in academic tasks. Because PCI's products are peer-oriented, hands-on, visual, and real-world, students enjoy working with them while they improve basic skills.

"Students of varying abilities all have hopes and dreams. And it is in their best interest, and ours, to help them achieve those dreams." Most teachers would agree with those words. After all, a teacher spoke them-PCI's co-founder Janie Haugen-McLane.

Of course, you as the teacher, make the ultimate difference between success and failure for your students. You shape the course of their lives. PCI's products are here to help you.
